Just like recruit training, joining the NYC Leathernecks is done in phases.
This involves initial contact and meeting of members. We meet and you tell us about yourself and vice versa.
This is known as the hang-around phase. You would meet us at events and "hang-around" us. We get to know more about you and you about us. This way you can see if being one of us is what you would like to do and we also see how you are.
So we met and you hung around with us. What's next? After verifying your proof of service, If we all agree and decide to move forward, you will be offered a chance to prospect with us.
After a vote, members will vote and decide if you need more time prospecting or if you're ready to earn your EGA for the second time!
